TL 3000-7R

The TL 3000 Disc Ripper from Krause takes primary tillage to the next level. Built for and tested with today's highest horsepower tractors, the TL 3000 provides single-pass crop residue management, soil tilth improvement and fall seed bed conditioning. Front disc gangs aggressively cut and size residue, while the parabolic ripper shanks manage compaction and improve soil tilth. Finally, the rear disc gangs aggressively break clods while blending soil and residue into a level fall seed bed that's ready for one-pass preparation in the spring.

Crop Residue Management

The TL 3000's front disc gangs feature 24" diameter blades with a wide 13" spacing to aggressively cut and size the toughest crop residues. Incorporation of residue increases moisture infiltration into the soil profile and aids in fighting compaction by providing separation of soil particles.

Soil Tilth

Soil Tilth refers to the ratio of soil/water/air that make up your soil. Ideally this mix would comprise 50% soil, 25% water and 25% air. Compacted soils have less porosity, reducing the amount of water the soil can store and move into the plant's root system. The TL 3000's 10" Winged Pointsparabolic ripper shanks and specially designed 10" winged points provide maximum fracture below the soil surface. Compacted soil is relocated by the downward angle of the wings creating a mellow soil environment with increased pore space.

Fall Seed Bed Conditioning

An ideal seed bed condition is vital to maximizing crop yield potential. Primary tillage with the TL 3000 is the first step towards an ideal spring seed bed. The TL 3000's rear disc gangs feature 24" diameter blades and narrower 11" spacing for more aggressive clod sizing and a level field finish. Rear disc gang features three angle adjustments; 10, 15 and 20 degrees to match varying soil and residue conditions. Taper disc blades on the ends of the gangs ensure proper feathering of soil to blend into the next pass.
