Designed for no-till from the ground up, the Krause 5200N
Series No-Till grain drills combine all the ruggedness you'd
expect from Krause with gentle, precise seeding accuracy.
The 5200N Series drills offer many advantages over competitive
models that adapt light weight 3-point mounted drills to a
"coulter caddy" to produce a "no-till"
model.
Krause No-Till drills feature a "unitized" design
with the coulter beam mounted closer to the openers to allow
for accurate tracking with the openers through gradual turns
and on contours. The "unitized" design results
in a more compact, easier to maneuver drill, capable of making
tight turns at end rows.
A unique weight transfer hitch, standard equipment on Krause
No-Till drills, allows the operator to hydraulically adjust
the down pressure on the coulters for added penetration in
extreme conditions. The 5200N Series drills feature Krause's
proven cut, form and fold seeding method. The coulters cut
through residue and hard surface crust while the aggressive
offset design openers penetrate and form a narrow "V-shaped"
seed trench gauged by the press wheels. Opener down pressure
allows the press wheel to fold and firm the seed to soil contact.
Take a Krause No-Till drill
into corn stalks or wheat stubble, they're built for high
residue conditions. Watch yields improve with no-till drilled
beans or plant peas, edible beans, small grains, grass seeds
or alfalfa. Krause No-Till drills plant each crop accurately,
regardless of seed sizes or field conditions. |
