| The all new Krause 4820 Series marks the
addition of wing-fold models to the highly successful 4800
Series Landsaver Coulter Chisel line. Available in 15,
17, 19 & 21 Shank models ranging in working widths from
20 feet to 28 feet to match higher horsepower tractors. Coulter
gangs feature hydraulic depth adjustment as standard equipment.
Folded width on all models is 14' 4" for ease of transport. |
Features. . .
- Coulters
- Coulter gangs are hydraulic depth adjustable with a
working range of 1/2" above to 12-1/2" above
the chisel points. Coulters are 6 gauge material and 20"
diameter. Rugged cast iron spools space the coulter blades
8" apart. Coulter tie rods are 1-1/2" diameter
alloy. Gangs are spring cushioned for rock protection.
- Massive Main Frame
- Massive "backbone" type main frame adds residue
clearance and an ultra-strong foundation to the 4820 Series.
Heavy-duty walking tandem wheel assemblies are standard
on the center section of all models, and the wing sections
of the 19 and 21 shank models (4819 & 4821).
The 15 and 17 shank models (4815 & 4817) feature 11L
x 15, 8-ply single tires on the wings.
- Depth Control
- Depth control is handled by four hydraulic cylinders
(one on each wheel arm) and is set with a single remote
depth stop located conveniently at the front of the unit.
Rocker system spreads lifting loads over a broad area
of the frame. Eyebolts provide convenient side-to-side
leveling of the wings.
