The Krause 4400 Series Flex-Wing Packers offer more time
and money-saving features than any other packers on the market.
Krause packers pulverize clods, press down stones and eliminate
air pockets in the soil, resulting in a superior seedbed to
give your crop an extra edge right from the start.
Krause's innovative use of massive 6 5/8" roller axles
eliminates the need for troublesome middle gang bearings,
and eliminates the "skip" in the tilled soil
due to the space taken by the middle gang bearing. The 6 5/8"
diameter roller axles are up to twice as strong as the 4"
diameter axles used on some competitive models.
Transport wheels clear the soil by several inches eliminating
wheel tracks in the seedbed. Front and rear gangs may be set
to overlap, so there are no unworked strips, even when flexing
over hills or terraces.
The 4400 Series Packers are offered in working widths from
20' to 36' to meet the needs of today's large farming operations.
All Krause Packers feature "cross-fold" design
for convenient road transport.

Telescoping Tongue
Models 4428 - 4436 (28' through 36') have an extendable tongue
to enable shorter turns when the unit is being pulled behind
another tillage implement. The telescoping tongue increases
tongue length from 13'4" to 18'4". The tongue
may be retracted for road transport or more convenient storage. |

Super
Seal Bearings
Krause "SuperSeal" regreaseable bearings are used
on 4400 gang axles to ensure long life and rugged durability.
Since there are no middle gang bearings, the "SuperSeal"
bearings can be easily removed from the gang for servicing,
without disassembling the gangs, a time and labor saving feature
you'll be sure to appreciate. |

V-Pack
Wheels
4400 VP Series Packer feature 22 3/8" diameter
by 1 3/4" wide V-pack wheels on 7 1/4" spacing.
The "V" shaped packer wheels create a "corrugated"
field finish to fight wind erosion in sandy soils. Tie rods
on the VP Series are 1 1/2" diameter alloy and utilize
"Superseal" Bearings. |
