Available
in 41 ft. or 45 ft. models, the 2190 is a medium weight tandem
with enough heft (413 lbs. to 499 lbs. per foot of cut) it
compares to some manufacturers "heavy" series discs.
2190 Series discs feature Krause's patented "Spin-Gang"
folding design that allows a lower roading height when needed.
Available in standard or "Rock-Flex" Models the
2190 features a choice of 22" or 24" blades. New
low maintenance rocker system features hydraulic cylinders
(4) that act directly on the wheel arms, greatly reducing
frame stress and torsion. For increased performance in transport
and in the field, massive new walking tandems are standard
on both the center and wing sections; In addition larger,
stronger, gang beams and frame members are used throughout
the 2190 Series to add even more strength and durability.
New rocker shaft design features heavy duty 6"
x 6" square beam construction. Hydraulic lift cylinders
act directly on each wheel arm reducing frame stress and torsion...
and provide a more positive lifting force. Rocker pivot pins
are 1 3/4" diameter case hardened steel supported by
two inner heat treated steel supported by two inner heat treated
steel bushings for smooth operation and extremely long life.
Side to side leveling is simple and easy with "eye-bolt"
type adjusters - one on each wing.

New Heavier
wing frames
feature 4" x 6" inner front to rear beams while
the outer front to rear beam has increased to 4" x
8" dimensions. Disc gang beam size has increased from
3" x 5" to 4" x 5" for increased strength
and rigidity. Larger pivot pins now measure a full 2"
diameter. Rugged new walking beam tandems are standard on
the wing and center sections for added performance in the
field and roading. 8-bolt hubs and 12.5L x 16" 14 ply
tires offer big load carrying capacity.

Ruggedly
built main frame boasts
four front to rear members of 4" x 6" x 3/8"
structural steel for a solid foundation. Uncluttered design
offers excellent visibility over the unit. One piece main
rocker adds strength and simplicity to the 2190. Two 5"
x 40" hydraulic cylinders handle the folding. |
