| The NEW 7400-41 and 7400-46 Models, (41 ft.
and 46 ft. working widths), replace the 2190 Series in the
Krause line. These new models feature an exclusive hydraulic
folding outer wing that locks into position when unfolded.
This system replaces the "spin-gang" method of folding
as used in the 2190 Series greatly increasing productivity
and operator convenience. With most of the farm land in the
United States being non-contiguous, increased productivity
is gained through time savings en route to fields. The 7400-41
and 7400-46 increase tilled acres per hour dramatically over
a comparable 34 ft. disc harrow. With a 7400-46 you'll work
up to 7.2 acres/per hour more... that means an extra 86
acres in a 12 hour work day. |
Castering Gauge Wheels Standard Equipment
7400-41 and 7400-46 Disc Harrows feature two 20.5 x 8-10 Castering
Gauge Wheels for positive control of the front disc gangs
in soft or rolling terrain. Castering Gauge Wheels turn
with the unit on contours rather than creating furrows like
rigid mounted gauge wheels. Gauge wheels feature a spring
cushioned mount for protection. Adjustment is accomplished
with a handy wrench supplied with the unit. |

New Hydraulic Lock-Over Outer Wings
The 7400-41 and 7400-46 feature an exclusive Hydraulic
Lock-Over outer wing to accomplish folding for convenient
transport. The outer wings feature an exclusive self-locking
feature. When the wings are unfolded for field use the hydraulic
cylinder activates a locking mechanism that keeps the disc
gangs working at a consistent depth for a level field finish. |

New Dual Gang Beam Design
The new 7400-41/46 feature massive dual gang beam construction
on the wing sections for increased strength. The dual beam
is constructed of 4" x 5" and 4" x 4"
structural steel members and allows the use of an extra-wide
hinge fold. Krause's dual gang beam design is 2.4 times
stronger than a single gang beam design. |

Transport Efficiency
The maximum productivity transporting from field to field
needs to be accomplished quickly and efficiently. The new
7400-41/46 provides you with the most efficient transport
package available in an extra large disc harrow. Unlike competitive
models that are over 22 feet wide for transport, the 7400-41
folds to a compact 17'6" transport width, while the 7400-46
folds to 21'6" wide. Both models feature a modest
transport height of 14'9"... up to 22" lower than
competitive models. |
