The 6150 Landsman XT marks the introduction of a new class
of tillage
implement... one that combines primary and secondary tillage
with seedbed finishing...in one pass. |
| Here's what makes the Landsman XT so different
from other one-pass tools: Optimum disc spacing of 9 1/8" increases penetration. Following
the disc gang is one row of rugged XT 270 spring reset shanks to break up tough or previously
untilled soils. Following the XT 270 shanks comes five rows of field cultivator shanks,
either heavy-duty 2-Piece K-Tines or spring cushioned "C" shanks, to complete
secondary tillage. Or you can choose a 6150 Landsman set up with all field cultivator
shanks if you prefer. Finally, your choice of one of five rear finishing attachments follows
up to complete chemical incorporation and seedbed firming. The Landsman XT helps you save
time, tillage trips, residue... and money! |
 |
Krause's new XT 270 heavy-duty spring reset shanks are in a class by themselves. With a 270 lb. point loading, 10" trip height and 3/4" edge formed design, it's easy to see why.
XT 270 shank feature 26" underframe clearance. |
 |
Heavy-duty 2-piece K-Tine is an ideal choice for tough conservation conditions. Massive 1/2" x 3" upper leaf spring and an edge formed 5/8" thick lower
shanks provide a substantial 180 lb. point load measured at average working depth! Shank underframe
clearance is a residue tolerant 25". Edge formed shank design means less draft and less
residue buried compared to old style shanks used on most competitors units. |

| Krause engineers designed an all new Hi-Residue 3-row tine harrow and 3-row tine
and reel combination for the Landsman XT. All-new, hi-clearance mounting arms,
7/16" x 16" tines, with each tine bar mounted and spring tensioned individually,
allow this innovative new harrow to "walk" residue through without "dragging
and bunching." New Hi-Residue spike and reel combination is also available. |
Krause Landsman's three-or five-section design allows wings to be hydraulically folded over-center
for roading. The 36 and 42-foot models fold for a transport height of just 13'6". |
