The 5200 PRO Series Grain Drills offer a wide variety of sizes from 15' to 36' to meet your farm requirements. These drills have seeding capability for conventional or minimum-till with the PRO Openers on 6", 7-1/2" or 10" spacing; minimum-till or no-till with the HR PRO Openers on 7-1/2" or 10" spacing. Openers are also arranged with a 6-1/2" stagger for excellent soil and residue flow.
Krause seed cups feature the industry leading fluted feed design. Large flutes allow slower shaft speeds resulting in greater seeding accuracy and gentle seed handling. An adjustable seed gate assures smooth seed flow with large or small seeds. Krause seed cups are bolted together rather than glued or melted for increased durability. Feed rates are changed by opening or closing the seed cups which is controlled by a seed rate adjustment knob on the end of the drill. Smooth plastic seed tubes prevent seed from "bunching" as with "corrugated" rubber seed tubes.
Krause Grain Drills provide front drive wheel systems and easy to adjust transmissions for a wide range of seeding rates. For 3-Point Models, two 11L x 15" tires both gauge and drive the drill. On Folding Models, each section is driven by it's own drive wheel; one 9.5L x 15" for the center and one 31-13.5 x 15" on each wing. The center section is supported by four 12.5L x 16" walking tandems with one 10.00 x 15" transport tire on each wing.
The available dry fertilizer option on folding models provides a stainless steel tank floor and a 60% grain / 40% fertilizer split. The fertilizer cups are of the same non-corrosive material as the seed cups to offer years of trouble free operation. A wide variety of transmission speed combinations are available to finely tune the rate of fertilizer to the crop being planted.

High-Visibility LED (light emitting diode) lighting is standard equipment on all Krause Grain Drills. This provides improved driver response time, eliminates filament burn out and has an expected 100,000 hour life.
