| Spools are a vital part of any disc harrow and a part often
overlooked by many disc buyers. Heavy, cast spools, like
the spools on the 4990 Series, add penetrating weight to the
disc gangs, where it counts! Even more important, Krause
spools are precision-machined with large diameter bells to
provide a perfect fit against the disc blade. The result;
blade breakage on Krause discs is almost nonexistent. Ductile
iron spools are standard equipment on Rock-Flex models. The
4990 Series features 1 1/2" diameter round alloy tie-rods
with fasteners on each end for ease of servicing. Krause tie-rods
are 30% - 70% stronger than many other brands. Take a look
