4830 No-Till Shank System
|
New No-Till Shanks, point and wings offer nearly disturbance
free deep tillage. No-Till shanks break up compacted soil layers
while leaving up to 86% residue remaining. Narrow 3/4" shank
is constructed of high-tensile steel for added strength. The
point, wing and wearbar are made from Austempered ductile iron
for long wear. The separately replaceable point, wing and wearbar
offer up to a 50% operational cost savings vs. competitive
models. |

No-Till Attachment (shown
with the No-Till Shank) provides minimal soil surface disturbance
to allow a more level planting surface in the spring. Krause's
exclusive design features closing wheels that move independently
for constant soil contact and are placed close to the shank
to limit "soil blowout." Closing
wheels are easily adustable for depth and down pressure. Wheels
spacing adusts from 3 1/2" to 11". With no pivots
to wear, durability is superior to other designs.
